Ash is a seasoned EdTech entrepreneur and a global authority on international teacher recruitment, onboarding, and professional learning. As the co-founder and CEO of SkoolSpot, he has led the company from a bootstrapped startup to a trusted partner for international and independent schools worldwide, simplifying HR workflows and elevating hiring, onboarding, and retention processes.
Previously, Ash played a key role in scaling an EdTech firm into an industry leader and one of Canada’s Top 50 Great Places to Work.
Ash earned his MBA from the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto), where he was honoured as Valedictorian by his peers. His leadership spans strategy, operations, and product development, with a strong focus on solving complex challenges in international education.
He actively contributes to the global education community through his roles as:
• Chair of the Commission on IT & Distance Education at the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA)
• Accreditation Team Member with the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, supporting the accreditation of over 3,000 schools in 90+ countries
• Member of the International Task Force on Child Protection, and contributing author of their safer hiring practices in international schools
