ASHA DORNFEST
Writer and Podcaster in Portland, Oregon
I'm a writer, podcaster, community builder, volunteer, and persistent optimist.
I'm the author of Parent Hacks: 134 Genius Shortcuts for Life With Kids (Workman Publishing, 2016), an illustrated collection of clever workarounds for new parents based on my award-winning, 10-year blog.
I co-host the Edit Your Life podcast with Christine Koh. We also co-authored Minimalist Parenting: Enjoy Modern Family Life More by Doing Less (Routledge, 2013).
I am working to inspire folks to participate in American democracy. I believe we hold great power when we speak up for our values, contact our representatives and vote. When enough of us participate, we can change the world.
I live in Portland, Oregon with my family. I love the Pacific Northwest and feel lucky to call this part of the country my home.
I believe people are generally good, smart, and generous. I do my best to share that message every day.
