Hello & Namaste!

I'm known as everyone's grandma in my community. In my language, punjabi, we say 'daadi'.

I was born and raised in India, and moved to Canada in the early '60s, with a bag of spices, and my own yogurt culture in hand, literally and figuratively, ready to build a life with my husband in this new country.

I'm a yoga practitioner, a teacher, a mother of five amazing women, and a grandmother to four wonderful children.

I'm an avid student of life. I believe that staying active keeps us young, and we never stop learning and improving ourselves. I think we can all teach each other something new.

I am passionate about serving my community, volunteering at my local temple, and helping in local food banks. I run a seniors' walking club, and I can teach you how to cure your everyday ailments with natural healing home remedies. I'm also a seasoned home chef with 60+ years of great recipes to offer.
