A textile design graduate of Philadelphia University’s College of Science & Textiles, Asha Pabla has led a successful career in the field of textiles and fashion for more than 30 years. Starting her career as a sourcer at Pressman-Gutman, she quickly made a name for herself in the field and earned such positions as senior manager at Milliken & Company and, most recently, fashion designer at Liz Claiborne. Over the years, she has proven her ability to work with and lead teams of up to 45 individuals, along with a keen eye for textile designs and textures. Asha Pabla is well versed in quality control and has a track record of managing production lines that continually rate high for quantity and quality.
Outside of her work Ms. Pabla is active in her community. She serves on the board of directors for the American India Foundation (AIF), an organization dedicated to bringing Americans and Indians together to support develop in India, and the South Asian Youth Association (SAYA). Asha Pabla also maintains a special interest in supporting organizations that promote maternal and child health, and she volunteers with the League of Artisans and Aid to Artisans.
