Currently, I am a PhD fellow at department of Geography, Environment and Population, the University of Adelaide. My PhD research explores the complex human-environment interactions in the Nepali plains to draw insights into non-linear environment-livelihood relationships.

The major tasks associated my research are: Design a mixed-method study to evaluate human-environment interactions; Conduct field-works at two study sites in the Nepali plains; Quantitative analysis of primary data; Quantitative analysis of trends on climatic variability and change; and

Assess the impacts on environmental change to local livelihood at study sites

I received my Masters in Urban & Regional Planning in environmental planning stream from University of Hawai’i at Manoa in August 2010. I have a bachelors degree in Architecture from Tribhuvan University.
