In the summer of 2013, my father had a major heart surgery. Seeing the kind of physical and mental obstacles he had to endure, started my trek to help people.

High school, for many teenagers, is a very tough four years. Witnessing first-hand the different mental illnesses that almost every student develops was heartbreaking. This helped me figure out that I wanted my main focus to be teenagers/children, as a clinical psychologist.

On the side I am a photographer. I range from people, to the smallest of plants. It is my meditation, my "me" time, my salvation. Spending hours in the same spot to catch the perfect shot can be trying; but the satisfaction once it's taken is oh so worth it. I like to believe my photography connects me to the world in a special way. It will never look the same way as it does in the photograph I've taken ever again.

Through my photography and my endeavor to be a psychologist, I have found myself more than I would have ever been able to otherwise. I strive for the best because I truly believe each and every one of us deserve the best.

The sky is never the limit because there are footprints on the moon.
