Ashleigh Mair

As an aspiring PR/Communications professional I have a strong communications and writing background. Graduating from Athabasca University with a BA in English has allowed me to develop the writing skills required for a professional career. As a skilled writer, I have had extensive experience writing clear, concise pieces delivering a variety of messages through my work and educational experience.

Prior to beginning my graduate diploma at Centennial College, I studied through distant studies at Athabasca University, after returning from Whistler, B.C., where I worked as a front desk agent for two and a half years.

With an extensive background in customer service this has allowed me to develop my problem solving skills, sales skills, and my organizational abilities. Working in the hospitality industry has taught me how to work well under pressure and the importance of clear, concise communication. Through my experience in the beauty industry, I have gained valuable skills relating to product launches and promotional events.

Currently in my first semester of my graduate year, I volunteer for CPRS ACE awards committee and work part-time as a demonstrator for COTY Prestige fragrance.
