My freelance writing career started at age 16. While I got my start penning music reviews, I now specialize in non-fiction articles which include inspirational features, children's media analysis, interviews, and creative non-fiction.
I also wear the hat "editor." In 2007, I founded Ungrind Webzine. As editor, I handpick the articles, work with the writers, manage our social networking, and oversee all publishing and design.
My experience also includes the role of managing and production editor of academic journals, as well as eight years as a dissertation proofreader.
I have a B.A. in Communication from the University of Hawaii at Hilo, and a master's degree in Communication from Regent University where I specialized in cinema-television producing.
