Ashley N. Hartman MPH, CHES is a Government Relations Program Associate at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and where she assists in advancing the Clinic’s wellness and prevention platforms and gathering the outcomes data required to translate programs to policy. She is also currently the LaunchPad Fellowship Field Coordinator with the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network where she provides support to YNPN Chapters in the form of training webinars, resource centers and direct, individual chapter support. Previously Ashley worked with Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio, where she won the award of Newbie of the Year for her outstanding working during her first year of service at the organization. While in graduate school, she also worked on two health promotion research projects, further demonstrating her commitment to public health.
Ashley holds a Master’s of Public Health from the Ohio State University. While at OSU she served as the President of the Public Health Student Association and Representative to the Association of Schools of Public Health Leadership Institute. She received her Bachelor’s of Applied Health Science from Bowling Green State University. While at BGSU she attended LeaderShape Institute, and received awards from Resident Life for Leadership Potential and Student Activities for Commitment the Community Service.
Ashley has presented at regional and national conference on reproductive justice and public health on the topics of peer education best practices, abortion messaging, strategic planning and youth organizing. her blogs have been featured on RH Reality Check and Amplify. Ashley also assists with local social justice and political organizing efforts and serves on the Youth Advisory Fundraising Board with Advocates for Youth.
