I'm a degree-qualified accountant and founder based in Perth, Western Australia. Across more than twenty-five years in accounting, investigations and software, my work has circled one question: can this financial data be trusted?

I started in construction and retail finance — payroll, reconciliations, inventory and system migrations, including an early MYOB rollout and Australia's GST transition — and leaned toward automation from the beginning. I went on to run a licensed private investigations practice for over a decade, where the whole job was verification: gathering information, testing whether it held up, and reporting it cleanly. Later I built and operated an AUSTRAC-registered digital-currency exchange, with the AML/CTF, KYC and transaction-monitoring compliance that demands.

Today I'm consolidating all of it into one focus: Acuvant, accounting data-integrity software for Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks that validates financial data, runs reconciliation logic, and flags the inconsistencies manual review misses. Different industries, same instinct — find what doesn't reconcile.
