Accountant and founder based in Perth, Western Australia. Across thirty years in accounting, investigations and software development, starting with a payroll rules engine built from industrial award logic in 1996, my work has circled one question: can this financial data be trusted?

I started in construction and retail finance: payroll, reconciliations, inventory and system migrations, including an early MYOB rollout and Australia's GST transition, and leaned toward automation from the beginning.

I went on to run a licensed private investigations practice for twelve years, where the whole job was verification: gathering information, testing whether it held up, and reporting it cleanly.

Today that lands in two places. Through United Financial Group Pty Ltd I conduct workers compensation wage reviews on behalf of Australia's leading insurers, and build portfolio level industry classification analytics for labour hire under the WorkCover WA Industry Classification Order. And I'm the founder of Acuvant, accounting data integrity software for Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks that validates financial data, runs reconciliation logic, and flags the inconsistencies manual review misses.
