By far my favorite part of working at Bryant & Stratton College is seeing my students graduate. I love seeing pictures of my graduates and their families because it reminds me of the difference earning a degree makes to both the individuals and all of their friends and family who have supported them.

A strong support system is something I find to be incredibly valuable and the camaraderie of the admissions team makes doing my job particularly rewarding.

I’ve been lucky enough to find my way across the Atlantic (or the Pacific depending on which coast you’re closer to) on more than one occasion. I’ve traveled to both Russia and Thailand before I completed my degree. My trip to Russia came while I was in high school and I traveled to Thailand while I was a student at Roberts Wesleyan College. I tend to stick closer to home these days as I love spending time with my husband, son and pug.

Although I’ve never voted against my son, he and our pug, Lucy, often compete to see who is the cutest in the house. We all love to binge watch Parks and Recreation whenever possible as it’s by far our favorite show. My co-worker (Melissa) thinks she’s the biggest Parks and Rec fan in the office, but she’s sorely mistaken.

I’ve been at Bryant & Stratton College for four years now and growing as a leader has been one of the most rewarding parts of my job. One day I hope to be able to return to school, like many of my students, and earn my master’s degree.

I’m looking forward to having the opportunity to work with you and it will be rewarding to see you walk across the stage in the near future!
