I was born in NY and raised in TX where I still reside. My passion for history and sports are rivaled only by my love of getting to know people and building relationships. My career path is one that has wound its way from kids to sports intermingled with a whole lot of travel.

Currently I am working as an Impact (Program) Director with City Year, a non-profit organization that works with school districts to positively impact the dropout rate and raise the number of at-risk students who are college ready and graduate on time. City year utilizes AmeriCorps volunteers to mentor and tutor students while building excitement about the learning process.

As mentioned, I have had a varied employment background. I truly enjoy the cycle of event management (creation through completion) and have a plethora of skills that help to make me successful.

Skills and attributes that I possess include but are not limited to the following: Self-motivated, Goal-Oriented, Detail -Oriented, Inventory Management, Volunteerism, Project Management, Sales Reports & Correspondence, Power Point Presentations and General Sports Knowledge.

I have a passion for helping people and working to improve the lives of those who are less fortunate than some. I am a member of the Black Alumni of SMU Alumni Board and love every aspect of giving back while assisting my alma mater in becoming a viable option for other minorities like me.

My sports passions are: soccer (most leagues) , volleyball (NCAA & AVP), softball (NCAA), football (NCAA & NFL), hockey (NHL) and last but not least basketball (NCAA) . I love most sports and truly enjoy most activities if they allow me to be outside and active.
