Ashley Kenneth Allen

I have lived in South Dakota my entire life. I graduated from Madison High School and have a B.S. Degree in K-12 Computer Education and Computer Networking from Dakota State University. I am CompTIA A+ Certified and also a "Highly Qualified" Teacher. I am Epic Systems ADT/Prelude/Identity certified.

As a Principal Systems Analyst, I leverage my digital and information technology expertise to design, implement, and support healthcare-focused technologies. I have over 25 years of real-world experience in the digital and information technology sector. For the past 17 years, I have primarily focused on Healthcare Information Technology. I have successfully led and participated in projects to improve patient care efficiency, quality, and safety across several health systems. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to create innovative digital solutions that meet patients', providers', and staff's needs and expectations. I am an expert in gathering, analyzing, and defining digital systems requirements, designing and re-engineering digital processes and workflows, technology systems configuration and programming, creating and delivering digital training, and deploying and supporting digital technology solutions. I have earned and maintained CompTIA A+, Epic Grand Central ADT, Prelude, and Identity certifications, and I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Education and Networking. I am currently working towards earning my Masters in Business Administration degree with dual concentrations in Healthcare Information Systems and Project Management.

I have been married to my wife, Erin Allen, since 2000. We have three daughters and a dog. We cheer for the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins.
