Ashley Scott was born with a passion for music. Inspired by the music in his parents’ record collection and talented family members including his aunt, Helen Scott of The Three Degrees. Ashley decided to pursue and earn a music degree at Howard University. This key decision has opened doors for this Philadelphia native and has contributed to his over 15 years of success in the entertainment business. Ashley formed his own entertainment production and promotion company called Philash Entertainment Group whose current clients include Will Downing, Marcus Johnson, and The Three Degrees. .In 2004, Ashley co-founded The Artists United and became Director of the Philadelphia Chapter where he assists with planning entertainment educational initiatives for their monthly Networking and Entertainment Seminar "The AU Solutions" and the famed "United We Band Jam Session. In 2009, Ashley is a voting member and Board of Govenor of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences Philadelphia Chapter. Ashley enjoys mentoring and sharing his knowledge with new artists.
