Ashley Johnson

Hello, I'm Ashley Johnson, an experienced teacher with a passion for education and a diverse range of expertise. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of making a significant impact in organizations such as the Canadian Red Cross, the Ontario government, and even within the Canadian corrections system.

Beyond my role as an educator, I bring a unique set of skills to the table. As an experienced carpenter and stone mason, I have developed a hands-on approach that enriches my teaching style and allows me to connect with learners in a tangible way.

Before the pandemic, I had an incredible opportunity to serve as an independent contractor for the military. In this role, I had the honor of teaching outdoor wilderness survival strategies to infantry, sharing my knowledge and empowering others in the great outdoors.

Now, I am excited to bring my wealth of experience and passion for education to a wider audience. With a particular focus on outdoor education, I aim to inspire and empower learners through innovative teaching methods and transformative experiences in nature.
