While members of Ashyln Maine claim to be originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, this is only their carefully planned alter-ego. Ashlyn Maine is actually the greatest Alternative Folk / Acoustic band that North Monrovia, Alabama has ever known.
Influenced by bands such as City and Colour, Brand New, and Mumford and Sons, this trio of heartbreakers have been carefully planning their takeover of the North Alabama Indie Acoustic Scene. Fate would find the band joining together in early May of 2011 when Jake England, Brandon Canada, and Aaron Myers left the wedding of their best friend to start a jam session at 2am in the morning. Soon after their third get-together, the band decided to hit the road in the face. Ashlyn Maine has since then been recording with the best technology that Brandon can get his hands on, and has performed multiple shows around Huntsville, Alabama and Nashville, Tennessee.
When they’re not making sweet music that makes the girls cry, you can usually find the guys in Ashlyn Maine either at Jake’s house at Bojangles Fine Dining.
