I am a southern girl at heart, sweet tea and all (yes, even the big hair). Last year, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University with a degree in Communication and Government. I am currently the Corporate Development Assistant for a media/news company.

I am the author of "Bullied yet Victorious: How I Overcame Fear with Faith" which was released nationally on July 23, 2013, from Tate Publishing. My desire is to encourage youth that God has a purpose for them according to Jeremiah 29:11. My book is not an anti-bullying campaign, rather it encourages the reader to rely on God during tough times. There truly is power in persevering. One of the greatest lessons I learned is that it doesn't matter what people say about me; what matters is what God says about me. That is what I share with with teens-people may put negative labels on you, but God calls you blessed, beautiful, worthy, overcomer, and victorious! My heart's desire is to share faith, hope, and love to those hurting and dealing with bullying, as well as low self-esteem. I am also passionate about helping youth develop leadership skills. I have guest lectured at Texas Christian University. My goals are to continue speaking, be a leader, and a role model.

For fun: I like to go to Starbucks, hang with friends and family, watch movies, go shopping (can a girl have too many pairs of shoes?), play basketball, play golf, and watching football.
