Nicholas Ashton

My name is Nicholas Ashton and I am a Journalist. Born in in Kingston Jamaica, I grew up in a single parent middle class home

After getting a degree in design at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. I wanted to make a difference for the people of my home country. After returning to Jamaica in 2012 I started a non-profit organization with my wife Shani, geared towards helping inner city kids and teenagers express themselves through art and sports. Seeing the part of society often hidden from view and learning the stories of these children showed me the need for resources and outlets which shined a light and gave a voice to those who can’t speak for themselves.
