Hey, I’m Ashutosh.

I love designing board games for children. I converted this passion of mine to profession by pioneering the concept of Games-Based Learning in Indian schools. I am the chief curator of KONSHIUS & THOTS program.

I feel elated to say that humble steps initiated in 2007 has become pedagogy, which is now practiced in schools for developing Thinking Skills & Learning Ability of children age 4-14 years, valuing it equally as Math & Language.

My conviction of directly developing thinking skills, without depending on academic content, made me take the entrepreneurial route in 2007. The single minded focus of my journey has been to make board games based progressive learning system for improving a child’s ‘Ability to Think by Game Playing’. This whole system is independent of academic content & neutral to social-economic-cultural background of children & parents, making the learning useful for all.

I have 10 patents to my name and some more still being evaluated for award. I am humbled to receive several prestigious awards & recognition, for my last 15 years plus work in this domain, including RethinkIndia ‘Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Innovation Award 2017’, ‘Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Design Excellence Award 2015’, ‘Asia’s Best Innovation in Education Award 2013’, ‘Best Educational Innovation in India 2010’ by DST GoI & CIIE IIM-A, Distinguished Alumni Award of National Institute of Technology (KKR), Honorary Doctorate in ‘Philosophy in Education’, Catalytic Speaker & Trainer on 'Games Based Learning for Sustainable Development of Humanity' at UNESCO MGIEP TECH2019 & TECH2017.

My vision is now to enable Parents, Educators & Trainers use these games and pedagogy for Critical Inquiry & Mindful Thinking, and make it an integral part of child development process worldwide.

I’m currently living in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. I am a fan of education, innovation, and entrepreneurship. I’m also interested in design thinking and coffee. You can visit my company website with a click on the button above.
