Asibor Eromosele Philip is a 26-year-old agribusiness development practitioner with about 7 years of experience the industry. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Benin, where he graduated with First Class honors.
Philip has served in different capacities in first-grade agricultural establishments in Nigeria. He was the pioneer Farm Supervisor at BritAm Farms, Igarra, where he managed a poultry, a pig farm, a hatchery, a rabbit farm, and a feed mill. In 2020, Philip worked with Farmagric Foundation for Agriculture, Abuja, in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to train more than 600 farmers, intending farmers, women, and youth.
Philip is the founder of Farmily Agribusiness Development Initiative, a youth-led social enterprise working to end food insecurity by democratizing agricultural knowledge for all Africans. Through FarmilyNG, Philip has imparted farmers, women and youths in over 4 continents with 21st-century agricultural skill. He is the convener of the annual Profitable Rabbit Farming Conference which has attendees from Nigeria, Ghana, Canada, Pakistan, USA, Sierra Leone, the Benin Republic, and beyond. He is also the founder of Viata Buna, a therapeutic food company based in Abuja.
Among many other certifications, Philip is an alumnus of the Young Talents Programme by the Lagos Business School (Pan African University), a fellow of the Harvard Crossroads Emerging Leaders Programme, and a fellow of the MFB AgDev Programme.
