Asif Choudhury

Dr. Asif Choudhury is a retired Interventional Gastroenterologist with over two decades of clinical leadership and community service. Formerly Section Chief of GI at Lee Memorial Health System in Florida, he trained at the Mayo Clinic and SUNY Brooklyn, and specialized in advanced endoscopic procedures, including life-saving ERCPs and esophageal stenting. Passionate about access to care, he treated uninsured patients weekly and provided free consultations at his local mosque. His commitment to healing extended beyond hospitals—through education, outreach, and mentorship. Now focused on empowering future medical professionals and promoting preventive health, Dr. Choudhury continues to inspire through his service-driven approach to medicine and wellness.
