Jacquie Ricci, CTC CTA DS

Jacqueline’s professional tourism experience began in 1977 while working for the Philippine Department of Tourism, before migrating to the United States. She received her accreditation and certification from the California Department of Education, ICTA (International Certified Travel Agents) and TTI (The Travel Institute) and ITMI (International Tour Management Institute). With her vast experience in travel, she held the position as general manager for several corporate and leisure travel agencies.

As an entrepreneur, she owned and operated an IATAN (International Airline Travel Agent Netowrk), ARC (Airline Reporting Corporation), CLIA (Cruise Line International Association) and ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents) as a certified and authorized travel, tours & cruise agency, before establishing a travel and tourism school in 1994. The school was licensed under the California Department of Education which also awarded her the certification as Travel & Tourism instructor.

Profoundly knowledgeable, a certified travel consultant with over 34 years experience, she provides travel information, advice and services to corporate and leisure travelers. She founded Travel Industry Professional Services, a travel consulting company that provides meeting & event planning, qualifier for travel agency start-up, travel & tour operations, management, contract negotiations with airlines, cruise lines, hotels, and tour operators, sales and marketing.

She became the travel consultant, host and co-produced the weekly travel talk show for KVTO radio. Her passion in travel is evident in her work as a travel video & photo journalist, her weekly column "Ask Travel Tips" for a weekly newspaper in San Francisco. She is the producer and host for an upcoming television travel series to be launch the first quarter of 2011.
