I am a freelance journalist and I work currently as an IJNET Arabic/ Google News Initiative trainer. We deliver trainings which focus on digital tools to gather and source information, enhance trust and verification, and support data-driven journalism and immersive storytelling.

For the past 7 years I have collaborated with different websites such as Correspondents.org, Deutsche Welle Arabic, the BBC Arabic Women blog, Manshoor.com, wirmachendas.jetzt ,Open Democracy and more.

I have also worked with institutions such as BBC Media Action , the Thomson Reuters Foundation, Media in Cooperation and Transition and various foundations and NGOs.

In 2017, I was one of the winners of the Migration Media Award in its first edition taking place in Malta and recognizing excellence in reporting on Migration in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

I hold an Engineering Diploma in Biological Sciencesand I am currently doing a masters inInternational Media Studies.
