Hello! I’m Lydia. I’m a student living in Troy, Mi. I am a fan of reading, sailing, and hanging out with my friends. I’m also interested in Travel. Something really important to me is social justice reform and I have had jobs and internships concerning politics to pursue change. I have a strong interest in math and science and will be a doctor one day!

Something really important to me is the club that my friend and I co-founded called M.A.D. now or Make A Difference Now. Since we have a passion for social justice and wanted to be apart of a better society, we decided to create a community of inclusion and reform. Our club focuses on the inclusion and better treatment of immigrants, and we strive to make life easier for first-generation students at Troy High who might not speak English as their first language. Our club also volunteers at community events such as events for those with special-needs or volunteering at nursing homes since the elderly are another population that are cast aside in today's society. We will also be doing more political things in our club this year such as call banking for candidates, but also be doing more community outreach such as volunteering at homeless shelters and doing fundraisers. Click on the "attend my event" link to visit our club Instagram and get involved with us!
