Alessandro Sorrentino

I'm a freelance data journalist with a specialist interest in investigation articles based on Freedom of Information requests. Currently a third-year media student at Birmingham City University.

I'm currently writing my dissertation which looks at Data Journalism within the BBC and creating my production project which is a data news site for the people of Birmingham.

Currently, I'm the data editor for Birmingham Eastside, a local news site for the Eastside of Birmingham city, UK. I've had a number of articles published in a range of publications and have a growing portfolio which covers a range of writing styles including features, investigative articles, reviews, NIB's and more.
