Walking through the streets of California on a family trip when I was in the fifth grade, I was stunned when I came across 3D art on the walls and ground. The kind of 3D art that makes you feel like you're about to fall into the ground beneath you. The kind of 3D art that makes 2D steps look so real you feel like you can climb them. Then, started my unhealthy obsession with trying to recreate these pieces of art anywhere I could and I mean everywhere. Whether you pick up my notebook, textbook, or even my planner, a corner is most definitely filled with doodles of mini 3D art. Addiction or not, I was determined to join an art class to make my skills, “better." However, I soon realized that joining an art class felt like I was making my interest into something I was required to do as homework. Although I was learning more tricks and lessons to better my skills, I dropped the class. Eventually, due to my busy schedule, I set aside my obsession of 3D art for some time. Sometimes, though, these doodles will always be natural to my hand when I'm bored in class.
