President and COO of ANA, Inc., Assad Boulos founded the company in 1983 overseeing its growth into a firm that owns and operates 10 convenience stores and shopping centers in the Houston area. Since the company’s founding, Assad Boulos has been directly involved in all aspects of the acquisition of new locations leveraging over three decades as a business owner to ensure that the stores and shopping are profitable.
Concurrent to his role at ANA, Inc., Mr. Boulos founded, owned, and managed several successful restaurants in Houston. From 2000 to 2006 he served as president of E International, an upscale restaurant in downtown Houston which regularly featured live entertainment. In 2008, he founded Cafe Byblos, a restaurant offering an authentic Mediterranean food, as well as middle eastern music and dancing. Operating Cafe Byblos for eight years, Mr. Boulos took personal responsibility of ensuring each customer had the best fine dining experience possible.
Closing Byblos in 2016, Mr. Boulos opened Juan Parilla, a restaurant offering a unique twist on Latin American cuisines. Since 2014, he has served as president of Wasifi, a restaurant named after its noted chef Wasifi Darabi, a chef with over 30 years of industry experience.
