Hi, my name is Astrella.

I relocated to the United States in 2017 from Rome, Italy, bringing with me a strong background in digital marketing and social media management. For seven years, I worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist and Social Media Manager, driven by a lifelong fascination with advertising—I was the one in my family who never changed the channel during commercials.

In 2019, I transitioned into my “American Dream” role at Comcast as Editor- first and Senior Editor later in 2022 -, where I combine my passion for film and TV with my expertise in metadata, workflow innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. My work has been recognized for consistently high editorial standards, mentoring junior editors, and leading complex projects across global OTT platforms.

In 2025, I was honored as a AI Innovator Award Winner for developing StreamIntel: AI-Powered Tracker, an AI-driven solution that streamlined tracking of upcoming original content across OTT platforms. The tool reduced weekly tracking time by 62%, improved efficiency for 86% of editors, and is projected to deliver an additional 50% productivity boost. I’ve also designed workflow automation tools with Microsoft Lists and Forms, saving my team hours each week, and coordinated high-priority initiatives like Remaps projects and large-scale catalogue clean-ups.
