Nikos Astroulakis is an interdisciplinary economist, Ph.D.c. in the Department of Economics at University of Crete. His doctoral thesis focuses on ethics of development in an international political economy context. He has studied economics, sociology, international relations and business in Greece and United Kingdom. His academic and research interests mainly refer to the fields of Social Economics, Political Economy, Business and Global Ethics. He numbers several publications in referred journals and collective volumes. Nikos actively participates in: International Development Ethics Association (IDEA); The Association for Social Economics (ASE); International Initiative for Promoting Political Economy (IIPPE).
