Sunny joined the law firm after practicing primarily in the areas of foreclosure defense and corporate counsel for more than three years, wherein he counseled families and small businesses in meeting the challenges faced during the economic recovery.
Sunny has gained a reputation of being a successful enterprise originator and implementer, while previously serving as senior associate, general counsel and managing director of several law practices and businesses. He has negotiated mortgage modifications, settlement stipulations, confidentiality agreements, employee/consulting contracts and has managed other transactional matters. Sunny has advised clients in a broad spectrum of areas including litigation, corporate governance, liability protection and further commercial issues through his work as outside counsel to small and medium sized organizations.
Sunny's work experience in the Indian legal system, where he clerked for a High Court Judge and assisted senior counsel in the Supreme Court of India, has provided him with significant exposure to international jurisprudence and global litigation. His prior domestic relevant work experience began with the positions of legal intern, paralegal and summer associate, ultimately ascending to the roles of general counsel, associate and managing director in various practices. His entrepreneurial focus, academic background and dynamic personality enable him to be a strong communicator and an effective advocate.
An avid sports fan, Sunny plays basketball, football, softball and practices yoga regularly. In his free time, he enjoys pro-bono work, mentoring, traveling, meditating and snowboarding.

Education: Sunny earned his Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School, Boston, MA, and his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business, Economics and Public Policy, in addition to a minor in Psychology, from The George Washington University, Washington, DC, after growing up on the north shore and graduating from Roslyn High School.
