"Helping children along the path of learning, self-discovery, and success is the most rewarding feeling in the world and I am beyond eager to begin building foundations for myself as an educator.
My mother has been a Kindergarten teacher in Academy School District 20 for over twenty years, and my passion for children as learners has blossomed from watching her since I was a little girl. She is an out-of-the-box thinker, understanding and passionate, full of energy and above all else, she wakes up every morning and loves what she does. I was raised by this outstanding educator and have had her wisdom instilled in me every day of my life.
I have used this passion for children as learners by holding jobs in child care for over seven years. I have worked in athletic facilities such as VillaSport, Fitness19, and ClubUSA in the childcare centers. I have also been employed by the state of Colorado for Rocky Mountain Kids in one of their girls group homes.
I believe in the empowerment of life-long learning and hope to encourage my students to develop a hunger for problem-solving, discovery, and educated risk-taking."
