Annie Tatton is a Tāmaki Makaurau-based textile artist specialising in large-scale, chemical-free eco-dyed textiles. She holds a Master of Art and Design from AUT. Her practice explores sustainability and material integrity, creating tactile works that carry a profound sense of place. Relying entirely on water, heat, and locally foraged plants, Tatton produces earth-derived tones on linen, silk, and wool. She brings over twenty years of experience across fashion, art, and international film to her work. Tatton’s architectural-scale textiles offer audiences an immersive connection to the flora of Aotearoa, celebrating low-impact, sustainable art practices.
