Athab333 says that watching her mother go through the grueling process of battling cancer was very heart wrenching for her, and that her mother's fight inspired her to do some fighting of her own. Ever since the diagnosis, she and her mother have been dedicated to raising awareness about this lethal and devastating disease. She says that part of the reason she was prompted to become a part of the medical field was because when she was young her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She hopes that by doing so one day we can find the cure.
