Athulile Mnyamana
Student in New Doornfontein, Johannesburg, Gauteng
I am a third-year at The Great University of Johannesburg, pursuing my degree in Bachelor Of Education, specialising in Geography education. I am passionate about learning, teaching, and helping others develop a better understanding of the world around them. My academic interests include Geography, environmental sustainability, and the use of technology in education.
My teaching philosophy is that every learner deserves a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and reach their full potential. I believe that education should inspire curiosity, build confidence, and equip learners with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy playing sports, travelling, and exploring new places and cultures. These experiences have strengthened my discipline, adaptability, teamwork and appreciation for diversity. Although I am pursuing a career in education, my long-term goal is to become an attorney, where I hope to combine my passion for education with my interest in justice, advocacy, and making a positive impact in society. I am committed to lifelong learning, personal growth, and making a meaningful difference in every community I serve.
