Atif Maqbool

Atif Maqbool (born 16 July 1999) is a Kashmiri politician, journalist, and digital entrepreneur. He is the founder of The Azadi Times, an independent Kashmir-based international digital news platform established in 2020.

Maqbool was born on 16 July 1999 in the Muzaffarabad region of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He has been involved in youth-led initiatives focusing on community development and public awareness.

In 2020, he foundedThe Azadi Times, a digital news platform covering regional politics, human rights, governance, business, and culture across Jammu Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. The platform is known for independent reporting from the region.

He is also involved in digital entrepreneurship and freelancing, and is associated with political and social activism as part of the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee.
