Hi my name is Atish and I’m currently at university studying a foundation course in order to advance to go into an Economics course.During my Free time I like to go to the gym, play some football with my friends and like to bake. I’m also interested in music as I play the piano.Furthermore I love to travel and planning on interrailing in Europe next year.

Awards received

NCS: NCS was a four week program where I develop skills and had a fun time during the time period. On the first week we had went out camping and I created bonds and friendship that have continued till today. During the rest of the weeks we had chosen a charity to help which was the Recovery Assistance Dogs. This charity help to adopt recovery dogs and provide them a home for people with a mental disorder. We help buy raising over £1000 by bake sales, sponsor walks, creating a flyer for the charity and organising a party at a local club. I felt as I develop key skills such as leadership and organisation skills.

First Aid Certification: I had taken a course in secondary school as well as my time during NCS in order to get my First Aid classification. I feel that this is very important for anyone to learn as it does help to save a live if the time is needed to. I would also like to recommend anyone else to do this as I think that it’s a necessity to learn in today society.
