Social Media Manager, Teacher, and Mother in Atlanta, Georgia
Amber Koter is a part-time working mother who is originally from Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Education. Amber is a Plexus Ambassador who strives to help others be their personal best through self-care, health, and wellness.
Amber has lived in Atlanta for over a decade. She became a mother here, having two baby boys at Piedmont Hospital. She loves to be a "connecter" and provide opportunities for families to support one another through fellowship. Amber is a parenting and education nerd, as well as a complete sucker for a sale. She spends as much time at Target as she does sleeping each week.
Amber suffered a severe postpartum reaction in 2007. Since recovering with proper treatment and care, her passion is supporting and educating expectant and new mothers about the postpartum period and being a first time mother. Amber facilitates new mother and postpartum support groups in the Atlanta metro area. She lives with her sons, as well as their pet...a stuffed dog named Buster.
Amber wrote at her blog, Beyond Postpartum for over five years. She serves as a volunteer with Postpartum Progress as well as within her church.
