Greetings from Atlanta: City of Peace. Hello. My name is John. In 2003-2004 I created the brand term ©Atlanta: City of Peace™ and in 2006 I established an organization by the same name. Every day, I look for ways to be grateful, and to celebrate the Global Family that WE are a part of. While growing up, my Mother gifted me with an inspiring example and uplifting perspective. "As we learn to see all of those around us as important sisters and brothers in our huge and beautiful family, our global family, then we can celebrate life better." With the inspiration of my parents and many, many siblings (from my immediate, and our extended Global Family) on 08/08/08, I authored & published the Declaration of Peace Millennium (Years 2000-3000). It defines a goal for our Global Family to cultivate peace on Earth for the next 1000-year period of human history. WANTED: 1 bold Patron, Partner, Philanthropist, PR professional and/or tech-genius to help bring transformation to ur site so we can fund the organization which aspires to help Dr. King's birthplace into its true destiny of becoming formalized as a Global Capital of Peace. FACT: Over two millennia ago (~2,500 years ago) the wise words of Confucius have taught many, many MILLIONS, including me. He proclaimed: "Study the past if you would define the future."​ And so... I studied human history. Then I experienced TWO main feelings: 1) I felt sick to learn about all the horrible violence over the past generations (FYI: In the 20th Century alone, around 280 MILLION sisters & brothers of our global family died prematurely from violence), and 2) I felt a driving need to express the deep gratitude that I have for my own life, and the love I have for my family, my friends and OUR Global Family; ONE Tribe... plus I also wanted to propel (with love, courage, hope & healing) the new era of transformation that is before ALL of us; especially supported through the 1000+ peace organizations which now exist worldwide.
