Aubrey Young

As an artist Young enjoys making stories come to life visually; both for herself and for those who cannot do it themselves. Art, to her, is about telling a story or instilling a feeling and Young wants to be able to help those people who have a story to tell but no way to show it to others. Young excels at helping others find the visual form for their characters so that their audience can also see their unique vision. Young’s hope is to help as many stories come to life as possible with her drawings.

With her pencils and pens Young will bring characters you thought only to see in the mind come to life on paper. Young has been working with these tools her whole life and this has given her the ability to use them to communicate visually very well. When Young works she like to be alone or with others who are also working hard on their projects so that she have less distractions and can focus on the project, to get close to the character, object, or feeling that she is trying portray. When she is finished she hopes that viewer can connect to the drawing and find the story; whether it is the story she is thought of or one that the view made on their own from the piece.
