I am a new 4th grade Language Arts teacher for Dallas ISD. I write about local music in the DFW area on my own blog - [email protected].

I am a UT Austin Radio-TV-Film alumnus. I gained a lot of on-air experience as a radio DJ, producing live music shows, and writing live music/album reviews and interviews. Now in Dallas, I am looking to expand my writing portfolio with music journalism to supplement my credentials as a writing teacher.

I am exuberant about education but also look forward to returning to school for a Masters in Digital Marketing so that I can write from home and travel.

I would like to make a career out of combining my writing, production, and teaching experiences to perhaps one day work or a public education network like PBS or Sesame Street.

I am an adamant dog-lover and foodie.
