About Me
I’m Augmented Kristy, a Marine Corps veteran, Augmented Reality creator, writer, lifelong learner and an unapologetically curious human who has a habit of asking, “But why?” and then disappearing down a rabbit hole.
I’m fascinated by the intersection of technology, science, history, human behavior and the future. From augmented and virtual reality to AI, physics, genealogy, 3D printing and the strange little details that make the world work, I’m constantly learning, experimenting and finding new ways to turn ideas into something tangible.
I’m also a mother, a homeschooler, a storyteller and a builder of things, both literally and otherwise. I love creating experiences that make complicated ideas easier to understand, especially when I can turn learning into something visual, interactive, or unexpected.
These days, I’m developing my own digital identity around Augmented Qbit Kristy, exploring what happens when curiosity, technology, creativity and a little bit of unconventional thinking collide.
I’m not particularly interested in fitting neatly into one category-I’d rather keep expanding the categories.
