August Wahh


Sabrina Augustine Haw is a graduate of the De La Salle – College of St. Benilde’s Music Production program. Abs Haw, a.k.a. August Wahh is a film scorer, singer, songwriter and beat-maker based in Manila, Philippines. She has been active in the music industry since 2006, starting out with jingle writing for the Tuna Festival commercial in her hometown, General Santos City.

Abs has graced many stages as the singer and songwriter of local soul band Chocolate Grass . She is also part of the artist roster of Hiphop / Beats label Deeper Manila, and the Buwan Buwan Collective. Some of her other credits include collaborations with Similar Objects (Jorge Wieneke), RBTO (Rob Lai), Like Animals (Luis Gutierrez), back-up vocalist for Nouvul, and numerous performances alongside June Marieezy.

Music, for Abs, is her avenue of self-expression, in order to understand and address abstractions and perspectives. She wants to keep inspiring people along the way and it is through the musical realm that Abs moves in, actively contributing to the industry by sharing and serving through her talent and creativity.
