JIN is a freelance writer who lives in a room in a house in a town near Boston and watches Parks and Recreation on the weekends. JIN has won two Boston Globe Golden Key Arts and Writing Awards, received a 2012 Editor's Choice Award on Textnovel.com, and in 2013 and 2015 became a National Finalist for a documentary created for National History Day. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, JIN has spent months traveling Asia during summer breaks and enjoys participating in Model UN conferences and various debates in the winter. Besides native English, JIN also speaks three other languages proficiently (Esperanto, Japanese, Chinese) and studies Latin literature, among a multitude of other languages. Besides writing, JIN enjoys music, drawing, as well as other forms of the arts and self expression.
