Aurélie Brown is the curator of Food Pyrenees, a boutique culinary travel company specializing in all-inclusive field trips to southwest France for curious foodies. She also founded the Taste of France in Chicago, which provides an avenue for market tours, dinners, and outings à la française.
Her provincial upbringing in a small village near Beauvais, France was heavily influenced by her family of dedicated bakers and chefs.
When she isn't pursuing her passion of infusing taste into life, she volunteers as a tour guide at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool. A Chicago resident for nearly eight years, she currently lives in the Gold Coast neighborhood with her husband.
