Aurelius is a passionate advocate for using technology to transform education and prepare students for the future workforce. As the Dean of Educational Technology at the School of Science and Technology in Singapore, he leads strategic initiatives that redefine teaching and learning through innovation, applied learning, and AI-driven educational practices.
In addition to his work at the school, he consults for startups and educational institutions, helping them reimagine the role of technology in learning. Aurelius frequently speaks at industry conferences and regional symposiums to share strategies for digital transformation. Notably, he had the privilege of speaking at the Temasek Foundation's Digital Transformation in Government, Economy, and Society in Asia Programme. During this virtual symposium organised by the Civil Service College Singapore, he engaged with senior public-sector leaders and policymakers who are advancing digital agendas. His audience included high-level representatives such as Undersecretaries, Director Generals, and Deputy Secretaries from Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Thailand.
Recognised as an Apple Distinguished Educator and a Google Certified Innovator, Aurelius possesses expertise in integrating cutting-edge technologies into authentic learning experiences. Over the years, He has held various consultative and leadership roles, including serving as an Advisory Board Member for Apple South Asia, Honorary Secretary of the Mobile Alliance, and Leader of the Google Educator Group in Singapore.
His foundation in technology began with web development, sparking a lifelong interest in emerging technologies. This practical experience is complemented by a Master of Arts in Social Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Southeast Asian Studies, and a Diploma in Information Technology. He remains dedicated to empowering educators, students, and organisations to leverage technology in meaningful ways.
