P O I N T S O F D I S T I N C T I O N
A passion for innovation. Brainstorming is my Disneyland.
I love to write - I believe it is the best way to understand anything.
Undergraduate background in Anthropology: I understand human motivations from a variety of different perspectives and within different contexts.
I’m curious. I always want to know why and always need to figure out how.
I have used my education as fieldwork to diversify my perspective, and have lived, studied, and worked abroad in Australia, Spain, and Denmark to do so. In two of these countries, I was gaining international experience in a formal institution applying ethnographic and innovation methodologies while working multi-cultural teams.
I am a deeply empathetic, emotionally intelligent right-brain thinker
I am extremely intuitive, and analytical. I have a strong ability to read between the lines and uncover non-obvious insights; to understand what people want and how to deliver to them.
I N N O V A T I O N M E T H O D O L O G I E S
I have worked with and learned from innovation firms such as Kroons and The Positive Deviance Academy. I have used the methodologies, training materials, and techniques from these organizations (such as the Positive Deviance Method), as well as those from other organizations such as IDEO and the Stanford d.School, applying these concepts to new product design, new and existing services, and to social institutions.
