BIO:

Austen is a humble but talented professional, a lifelong learner, and the father of two adorable children. In daily work, he is “the guy” to come to when problems or questions arise and is known to exhibit an upbeat & jovial demeanor. He harmonizes with coworkers through dedicated support, clear communication, and the occasional dad joke. He has over 5 years of experience in the defense contracting industry specializing in logistics management, procurement, material forecasting, and demand planning. In his current role at Raytheon Technologies, he is the senior supply planner on a critical program supporting the nation's defense portfolio. Outside of his normal duties, he also supports PC KPIs, direct card purchasing, training of new hires, recently completed the “Foundations of Leadership” program co-authored by RTX & DDI.

Austen seeks to create value through the identification of program needs and driving achievable actions to meet those needs. He has a proven track record of success, including supporting real-time logistical needs for federal rescue teams providing hurricane relief, reducing millions in residual costs, generating a strategic plan to preserve obsolete materials, and maintaining company integrity through rigid adherence to federal guidelines.
