Throughout the entirety of my childhood, there was never a moment that I was not willing to practice and get better at the sport I love more than anything: baseball. I wanted to live out my dream and play in the major leagues, however I came to the realization, during my junior year in high school, that my chances of doing that were extremely slim. As a result, I decided not to dig myself into a hole of emotion, but to keep moving forward and make the most out of the life that I get to live. It was not long after this decision that I found my grades being better than they ever were before, as I had found a new joy in enhancing my academics. Every kid starts out with a dream, however only a select few get to live that dream while the others are left to figure out what else they see their purpose being in life. My parents preached to me over and over again that "progression is key," and once I set this into motion with my life, I found it way easier to keep moving forward with my new goal of being a lawyer.
