Austin Chaney

Hi Everyone! My name is Austin Chaney. I am from Auburn, GA in Gwinnett County. I graduated from Mountain View High School and currently am a Digital and Broadcast Journalism Major at UGA. I was very involved in my high school. Student council was my biggest interest. I was a 4 year member of my high school's student council. I also served as the President of the Southern Association of Student Councils, and was an Executive Board Member of the Georgia Association of Student Councils. Broadcasting is my other passion. I was the "Voice of the Bears" in high school. I had the opportunity to work for the school newscast and announce at the football and basketball games. Outside of school, I love football. I am a huge Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Football. I have had two jobs. I worked at Chick-fil-A for 2 and a half years, and most recently I worked at WDUN, a radio station in Gainesville, GA. I love to meet people, network, and most importantly have fun! Go Dawgs!
