Growing up, I was always content. I lived within my means and wanted nothing more than to be average. That is no longer my goal. I want to be great. I want to be remembered for something more. That is where you, my potential employer, come in. You can help me achieve what I want, and in turn, I will dedicate everything that I have to making me the best employee you have ever hired.
While I think resumes are important, they lack the human element. So here is what you will not know about me from just my resume. I love writing. In college, I took many writing courses, instilling a love of words. I hope to one day have a best selling novel or be published in the New Yorker. I am not an artist, but I love art. My work ethic comes from my mother. As a single parent, she has worked two, sometimes three, jobs in order to provide for her children. As far as I'm concerned, she is what many people should aspire to become. Family is very important. Without my family, I'd be nothing.
Anyway, I hope that you will take the time to consider me as an employee. I really will be great, not only for myself, but to everyone around me.
